6th Salsa Summer Camp, Tuesday 24th to Sunday 29st of July, 2012

Salsa Kompaniet is proud to present the 6th Salsa Summer Camp at Bolærne, Tønsberg. Experience salsa in the Norwegian archipelago along with summer activities, great parties and more.

The last five years' feedback has been overwhelming, people have enjoyed themselves and appreciated this "one in a kind" salsa event. Our aim is to make everybody feel they are part of the "salsa family" and that there stay at Bolærne will be one of the best salsa experience ever. Have a look at the line-up, many top international instructors that will give you great salsa experience. There will be three workshop sessions per day, one in the morning and two in the afternoon. That gives us plenty of time to do other activities like beach volleyball, kayaking, sunbathing, swimming and water skiing or just enjoying life. Every night will start with a joint dinner in the restaurant, followed by salsa dancing and fiesta to the early morning!

 

Marchant & Davina are now confirmed to the 2012 Salsa Summer Camp

The response from the participants at the 2011 Salsa Summer Camp was overwhelming. This is why we decided to invite Davina & Marchant back for the 2012 edition. Their classes were excellent, but it were their relaxing and including behaviour outside the classes that made the difference. Machant and Davina told us that they are really looking forward to see you all again and they also promised to bring some of their own students. 

 

Babysitter for everybody with kids

The introduction of baby sitters for parents with kids, worked very well. We will therefore offer this service for the 2012 year Salsa Summer Camp. Bolærne is a perfect place for kids and they will enjoy the stay as much as you. We are haveing babysitters that will take care of the kids during workshops and parties. You will get plenty of time with the young ones between the morning and evening session. Bolærne is a popular place for schools and kindergardens to go for daytrips and camping, so now you have the chance for a combined salsa and family holiday. For more information click here ....

 

Special accommodation offer for everybody with full pass

This year we have been able to get hold of the former residence of the commanding officer, who used to be stationed on the island. The villa (Kommandantboligen) contains five bedrooms, with twenty-seven beds all in all, a living room, a large kitchen and two bathrooms. For only 1.000 NOK (around 120 EUR) you get 4/5 days of accommodation. You choose yourself whether you would like to arrive on Tuesday or Wednesday. This is an excellent possiblity for those who wish to save money on accommodation. There are no meals included, but you can cook your own meals int the well equipped kitchen. It is also possible to order food in the cafeteria. This is not part of the normal accommodation at Bolærne, which is booked directly with Bolærne. Instead, you need to book this via our webpage. Monterey 214 FSC is the official Salsa Summer Camp boat

This year we will have this beautiful and fast boat available during the whole camp. Have you every tried water-skiing or ride a a water-tube? It is just pure fun. What about crusing around in 40 knots enjoying the landscape, for sure something you will never forget. If you like it more physical, you can use the kayaks and paddle around in this beautiful archipelago.
